Background & Expertise
Charlotte completed her LLB at Bangor University in 2016 before obtaining her LPC with an LLM in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law in 2017. She joined the firm later that year as a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team before qualifying here as a Solicitor in April 2022, being promoted to Associate Solicitor in August 2024.
Having spent her entire career at the firm, she has developed a deep understanding of its clients, culture and approach to delivering robust, commercially focused solutions.
Specialisations and Personal Achievements
Charlotte advises on a broad range of disputes, including shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence matters, breaches of directors’ duties, complex contractual matters including restrictive covenants, and unfair prejudice petitions. She also acts in disputes in relation to jointly owned property (including TOLATA claims) and has a wealth of experience dealing with matters involving debt recovery, undue influence claims, and the enforcement of foreign judgements in the UK.
Her clients include private individuals, SMEs and larger companies, as well as directors and shareholders facing contentious issues.
Charlotte is known for her warm, personable manner and her ability to build trust quickly, putting clients at ease during what are often challenging circumstances. She tailors her advice to the unique needs of each individual or business, recognising that effective dispute resolution is never a one-size-fits-all exercise.
