Expertise
Rachel is a Senior Associate Solicitor in our Real Estate team. She specialises in residential property and currently works out of our Chester office.
Background and Expertise
Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 2005; she completed her training contract at a firm in Northwich and has practised in Cheshire ever since.
Having amassed almost two decades’ worth of experience in residential property law, Rachel joined the Aaron & Partners Real Estate team in September 2024.
Specialisations and Personal Achievements
Rachel specialises in all things residential property.
Her cases are often unique – like the purchases of a windmill and beach hut – and are brought to her by high-net-worth individuals with high-value properties.
They also tend to involve overlapping legal disciplines. Take family law, for example: the process of conveyancing sometimes occurs as part of divorce proceedings.
Rachel has acted for a wide variety of clients, all with varying interests, intentions and needs – from pension funds to PLCs. With her wealth of experience in residential conveyancing and knack for problem-solving, she is very well-suited to deal with such complex matters and determine how best to turn her clients’ ideas into reality. Rachel understands the importance of adaptability and is always up for a challenge.
Clients also appreciate the frank conversation and clear advice that Rachel provides – she takes the time to listen to what they need and presents them with viable solutions. Her “ask a question, get an answer” approach and exceptional client care are obvious assets and only add to her reputation as a safe pair of hands in this field.
Rachel emphasises the importance of having good legal representation when navigating the house-buying process, and her clients know that this is something she epitomises. A house is arguably the biggest and most important purchase most people will ever make; with this in mind, Rachel provides candid legal counsel and makes sure that her clients have all the information they need.
Rachel makes her professional learning and development a priority – she is constantly attending seminars, seeking out courses and listening to podcasts. As she now practises so close to Wales, Rachel has been working on updating her knowledge in this area.
Moving forward, Rachel is keen to take on agricultural cases to complement her current work. She is excited to expand her technical expertise and learn more about this sector from her colleagues.
