Background and Expertise  

Jenny studied law at the University of East Anglia before completing her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, in Birmingham. Jenny undertook her training contract at a firm in Manchester and went on to work at a reputable Shropshire-based law firm for 13 years. 

In June 2022, Jenny joined Aaron & Partners as an Associate Solicitor and was promoted to Senior Associate Solicitor in 2023.  

Specialisms and Personal Achievements 

Jenny has extensive experience in advising employer clients on a range of Human Resources issues including disciplinary and grievance matters, absence management, employment status, restrictive covenants and reorganisations/restructures and her clients include those in the education, manufacturing, care, financial services and entertainment sectors.  On the employee side Jenny also advises senior employees on a wide range of matters including settlement agreements.   

Additionally, Jenny has a particular specialism in undertaking grievance, whistleblowing and disciplinary investigations for employers of all sizes.  

Being commercially minded, Jenny provides pragmatic advice to her clients and identifies effective solutions that also consider her clients’ business needs. Jenny builds strong relationships with her clients, pairing her approachable and dependable qualities with her extensive understanding and knowledge of employment law.  

Jenny was listed as a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 2025 rankings.

  • Undertook a complex grievance and whistleblowing investigation for a major car manufacturer.  
  • Successfully negotiated a six-figure settlement package for a senior employee. 
  • Successfully defended a charity against a claim for age discrimination.  
  • Advised a client in the care sector in relation to complex trade union issues following an acquisition.
