Expertise

Jake is a Solicitor in our Wills, Trusts & Tax team, currently working out of our Shrewsbury office. He specialises in estate administration and succession planning.

Background & Expertise

On qualifying in 2020, Jake spent time with a Top 50 law firm in Birmingham where he gained quality experience in all areas of private client law. Jake now brings this experience to his role here at Aaron & Partners; he joined as a Solicitor in November 2024.

Specialisations & Personal Achievements

Jake’s workload encompasses all types of private client work including Wills, Trusts, Tax and Estates, although he has a keen interest in estate and succession planning. He has advised a wide variety of high-net-worth individuals, from landowners to business owners to clients with significant foreign estates and assets overseas.

Jake often works in collaboration with his clients’ trusted professional advisors, many of whom are in the agricultural and business sectors, to ensure that the most appropriate advice is given and all matters have been considered.

Valued for his pragmatism, Jake provides clear, tailored advice and takes a methodical approach to practice, simplifying matters for his clients and addressing any concerns they might have.

Clients appreciate Jake’s local knowledge. Having grown up in Mid Wales, he has a deeper, more personal understanding of the context surrounding his clients' matters – particularly those linked to the agricultural sector.

Jake is working towards his Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma, aiming to complete his studies in November 2025.
