Background & Expertise
Adam joined Aaron & Partners in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Associate Solicitor during his initial five-year tenure. He then moved to a Top 50 law firm as a Partner, heading up their Employment team in Manchester.
He later returned to Aaron & Partners, taking on his new role of Employment Law Partner and establishing the Greater Manchester office.
Adam advises on all aspects of employment law, helping his clients through every stage of their professional relationships – whether they are an employer or an employee. He also leads the firm’s business immigration offering.
Specialisations & Personal Achievements
Adam’s practice is focused on complex terminations, business restructuring, TUPE/outsourcing, whistleblowing claims and immigration. He has significant experience in the private sector and has worked with businesses of all sizes.
He provides specialist advice to clients across a wide range of sectors, namely engineering, pharmaceuticals, care, automotive, technology and charity. He advises companies on Sponsor Licence applications and renewals, Skilled Worker visa applications, Defined and Undefined Certificates of Sponsorship and Global Business Mobility visas.
Known for his expertise in both employment and business immigration law, Adam has consulted on several multi-million-pound business closures of UK manufacturing sites and subsequent relocations of product lines to other countries.
Adam anticipates and pre-empts challenges for companies, delivering solutions swiftly and efficiently. His highly personable approach means that he develops long-standing client relationships – he is always on hand to provide support. He looks at each case from a business and legal perspective, offering candid advice that puts his client first.
Adam was awarded ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by the Legal 500 2025 rankings in recognition of his outstanding work.
He is also a trustee for the Warrington Disability Partnership, a charity promoting the independent living of those with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

Employment
- Advised a global leader in the automotive industry on a 6-year, €100 million restructuring project which included trade union negotiation and collective redundancies.
- Advised a multi-national manufacturing company on breach of restrictive covenants by a senior director. Successfully negotiated undertakings to prevent a High Court injunction.
- Currently advising a leading global packaging business on the closure of its UK operations and relocations to Europe.
- Successfully advised a senior manager on a race discrimination claim against a quasi-public organisation.
- Frequently advises members of SLT on exits and settlement agreements.
Immigration
- Regularly advising businesses across a range of sectors (including healthcare, manufacturing, engineering, automotive and oil) on Sponsor Licences.
- Acting as a Level 1 User and assisting with healthcare Skilled Worker visas.
- Advising on a visitor visa for a Chinese Managing Director with two previously failed applications.
- Advising an international automotive business on Rule PA 7 to assist with the dismantling of machinery.
