The T5 (Temporary Worker) Creative or Sporting visa is for individuals that want to work within the creative or sporting sector.
You may apply as a Creative Worker if you are able to make a unique contribution as an artist, dancer, entertainer, model in the fashion industry, or as a musician.
You may apply as a Sporting Worker if you are able to make a significant contribution to the relevant sport at the highest level in the UK.

What are the main requirements?
You can apply under this category if you have been issued a Certificate of Sponsorship by an approved sponsor in one of the two categories and will need to meet the relevant requirements.
Creative worker
- demonstrate that you will make a unique contribution to the UK market in the relevant sector
- must be paid the minimum salary set by BECTU, Equity, or PACT
Sports person
- demonstrate that you will make a significant contribution to the relevant sport at the highest level in the UK
How long can you stay in the UK?
You will initially be granted a visa for up to 12 months or the duration specified on your Certificate of Sponsorship plus 28 days. You may be able to extend your visa from within the UK for up to a further 12 months or the duration specified on your CoS plus 14 days, whichever is shorter.
This category does not lead to settlement in the UK.

Your application is submitted online whether you are applying from outside the UK, applying from within the UK to extend your visa, or switching to this category from within the UK.
You can include your partner and dependent children in your application for permission to stay with you.
